Delete your account & data

You are in control of your data. To delete your account:

In the app: Sign in → Account → Privacy → Delete my account. You can download all your data first.
Grace period: deletion takes effect after 30 days. Signing back in during that window cancels it.
What is deleted: your profile, WhatsApp number, saved places, subscriptions and notifications are permanently removed.
What is anonymised: published safety reports and comments lose all connection to you ("Deleted member") but remain as public-safety history.
Facebook users: removing the app from your Facebook settings triggers the same deletion flow automatically.

If you cannot sign in, email hello@alertcommunities.org from the address linked to your account and we will process the deletion manually.
