Reporting something well
Photo, place, what you saw — the three things that make a report land with the right agency, and what happens after you press Send.

The three things
- A photo or a short video. It is the fastest verification there is: a picture of the water against a doorstep tells the agency more than any words. Faces are blurred by the platform where needed.
- The place. The map pin defaults to where you are; drag it if you are reporting something across the road. A precise pin means neighbours within the alert radius are warned; a rough one gets the uncertainty ring.
- What you saw. Plain words: what, how big, whether it is getting worse, whether anyone is hurt. Pick the service and a category — the category decides which agency sees it first.
Anonymous, private, or public
Every report can be anonymous: your name is never attached, even for the agency. Reports about a specific person or a private matter can be marked private — the agency sees them, the map does not.
What happens after Send
- The platform checks for a duplicate — if a neighbour already reported the same thing, you are asked to confirm theirs instead, which makes it stronger.
- An agency officer (or, for some categories, the platform's review) verifies it. You are notified at each step: received, under review, published, resolved.
- Once published, it is a pin on the map and everyone nearby with alerts on is warned.
- You can edit a report until it is published, and add photos after.
Something happening right now
Call the emergency number first. Then report — with I am not safe if you are in danger, which pages nearby volunteers as well as the agency.
Confirming beats repeating
If you can see something already on the map, press Confirm on its pin. Three confirmations from different people move a report through verification faster than three separate reports.
